Bowen Therapy
The Bowen Technique is an amazing pain control procedure originating in Australia. It is gentle, non-invasive and safe for all ages. It is effective for chronic muscle pain, scoliosis, whiplash injuries, neck and back pain, TMJ, arthritic pain and sports injuries, as well as knee, shoulder, hip and foot problems. The pain resulting from these conditions is normally controlled in 3-8 treatments. Dr. Boomhower has advanced training in this technique. To learn more about The Bowen Technique see the Bowen Technique International website.
Intravenous Micronutrient Therapy (IVMNT)
IVMNT is one of many injection therapies available at NCIM. It has been useful in the management of fatigue (including chronic fatigue syndrome), fibromyalgia, acute muscle spasm, upper respiratory tract infections, chronic sinusitis, and seasonal allergic rhinitis. A small number of patients with congestive heart failure, angina, chronic urticaria, hyperthyroidism, painful menstruation, migraine headaches and other conditions have also been treated with this approach and most showed marked improvement.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage & Combined Decongestive Therapy
Through the pumping and stretching effect on the lymph vessels, the Dr. Vodder method of MLD stimulates the contraction of lymph vessels, helping to move the lymph forward and drain the connective tissue. Scientific research in Europe (Hutzschenreuter, Mislin, Földi, et al.) has made this a well researched therapeutic technique. Manual Lymph Drainage can be utilized in the treatment of many different conditions including: Primary and Secondary Lymphedema Venous insufficiency, Non-infected inflammatory conditions (e.g. sprains and strains), Ulceration, Skin conditions, Circulatory disturbances, Sports injuries, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Burns, and Pre- and post- plastic surgery.
