
Heidi Kaseweter, MC, CCC, has been with The Northern Centre for Integrative Medicine since 2006, serving Prince George and the surrounding region. Heidi has spent a balance of time between office and community work. She graduated from the University of Calgary in 2008 with a Masters of Counselling (MC) and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC).
Heidi’s theoretical framework includes techniques based on cognitive-behavioural, narrative, solution-focused, and feminist approaches. Heidi practices from an approach of overall well-being and has specialized training in lifestyle wellness and more specifically disordered-eating. Other speciality areas include but are not limited to: anxiety/depression-management, stress reduction, assertiveness-training, and communication/relationship skills. Heidi recently completed training in hypnosis and can provide additional skills for addressing anxiety, smoking cessation, addiction issues, weight management, phobias, and a variety of other topics.
Heidi currently accepts new clients including children, adults, families, and couples.
